Are you passionate about optimising workforce management and driving operational excellence? Join our team as a Workforce Planning Specialist and play a pivotal role in transforming the scheduling processes for Home & Community Care (HACC) services.
This position supports the optimisation of the scheduling process as part of the HACC Transformation Project and contributes to long-term goals of improving workforce management efficiency and effectiveness across the HACC portfolio. You’ll focus on enhancing the matching of client needs with support worker availability, implementing best practices, ensuring accurate data entry, and driving client engagement to achieve operational efficiency and workforce utilisation.
Project Execution: Assist the Initiative Owner (IO) in executing project plans and implementing best practices in workforce planning and management.
Process Optimisation: Standardise processes and leverage system features to improve scheduling effectiveness, aligning client needs with workforce skills and availability.
Governance Framework: Develop and implement governance frameworks for workforce data management, addressing discrepancies to ensure accuracy.
Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with schedulers, workforce leads, and executives to gather feedback, resolve scheduling challenges, and provide regular updates on project progress, risks, and changes.
Performance Tracking: Support the IO in tracking and reporting on key project performance measures, maintaining thorough records of project activities and outcomes.
Training Resources: Assist in designing and developing training materials to ensure successful implementation of new processes.
Change Management: Support change initiatives, helping staff adapt to new practices and tools, and ensuring smooth transitions and adoption.
We’re looking for a professional with a combination of technical expertise, project management skills, and a passion for collaboration. You’ll need:
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant business field or equivalent experience.
