Senior Manager, Clinical Governance

Reporting to the Executive Manager, Strategy, People and Assurance, this role is responsible for leading the implementation of the UnitingSA’s Quality, Safety and Clinical Governance (QSCG) Framework and supporting the enterprise-wide alignment of practices across all disciplines and services. The role provides centralised line-of-sight to the Executive, CEO and Board to ensure safe, high quality service provision.

Responsibilities include:

  • To oversee QSCG capacity building activities to ensure that all Managers (operational and corporate) understand QSCG and build their skills and confidence in undertaking appropriate quality activities.
  • Ensure the development and review of Clinical Governance systems, documents and processes and the collection of all relevant data to measure deliverables and evaluate the delivery of services.
  • Provide a central line-of-sight and coordination function for all quality, safety and clinical governance activities (with particular focus on Aged Care and NDIS) including a master accreditation and compliance register. Ensure that all QSCG, accreditation and compliance risks are identified and resolved.
