Home and Community Care Program for Younger People (HACC-PYP) supports people to ‘get back to the things they love’ through meaningful social connections.

Uniting is looking for Volunteers to assist people to meet their social support goals, either individually or in small groups, to help people re-engage. As a volunteer you would be able to use your skills, passions, and knowledge to help others re-connect in the local community. You would be able to support people with activities that you enjoy and where might like to share your expertise.

You could have a conversation with someone over a cuppa, get out-and-about doing something the person enjoys in the local community, or have a phone call check-in.

We'll look for the potential to:

• Work independently and within a team.
• Treat all Uniting consumers and their families equally and with respect, demonstrating inclusive practice/support.
• Maintain professional boundaries.
