InsideOut is Australia’s national institute for research, translation and clinical excellence in eating disorders. With resources, rigour and perseverance we aim to transform the landscape for people with eating disorders in this country, and ultimately find a cure.
We are seeking a passionate and innovative Developer to join InsideOut Institute’s digital team. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by contributing to the development of our digital projects. Here are just a few examples of what you could be working on:
In this role, you’ll enjoy the creative freedom to shape architectural design, bring your ideas to life, and oversee software deployments from start to finish. Your contributions will play a crucial role in developing solutions that support meaningful, real-world impacts in the mental health field.

Each day at InsideOut brings a mix of coding, collaboration, and problem-solving. You might:
Our digital team currently includes two project managers, two internal developers, two external developers, and a QA specialist. We operate within the InsideOut Institute, which is divided into six teams: Research, Clinical, Service Development & Policy, Federal, Admin, and Communications. We work closely with these teams to design and deliver technology solutions that support the identification and treatment of eating disorders, support research data collection and analysis, and educate the workforce and wider public about eating disorders.
