The Program Manager - Gadigal Centre (Identified) has been designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people only under the provisions of section 126 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW).
The Gadigal Centre is the University of Sydney's dedicated student centre for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, providing academic, pastoral and cultural support services to Indigenous students to help them achieve their full potential and to graduate job-ready.

Reporting to the Director of the Gadigal Centre, the Program Manager, Gadigal Centre (Identified) will oversee the creation and delivery of all strategic programs and initiatives relating to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander student success at The Gadigal Centre. This role includes all phases of learning and wellbeing assistance for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students delivered by the Centre’s Advancement and Engagement Coordinators and provides leadership in identifying and addressing trends, areas for improvement and pockets of good practice across the University. There is also a key reporting requirement around National Indigenous Australian Agency program that is needed within this role.

This position is exclusively designated for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals under the provisions of Section 126 of the Anti Discrimination Act 1977 (NSW). It entails active engagement with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander knowledge holders, adherence to cultural protocols, and adept navigation of cross-cultural interactions. These aspects are integral to the role and duly acknowledged by the university, recognising the role's significant contributions to Indigenous and Education strategies.
