The Matilda Centre is seeking a Research Officer to join their research team. This role will work on an existing study that commenced in 2020, aimed at evaluating a model of care that includes interventions across the spectrum of prevention, early intervention and treatment of problematic substance use among people working in emergency, corrective, family and community services.
The project exists and operates primarily in an online web portal, where visitors may undertake self-assessments, receive personalised feedback on their substance use, and recommendations regarding potential support options based on their level of risk, and provide survey responses on their personal lived experiences.
As the Research Officer, you will collect and analyse quantitative and qualitative data collected online and via participant and key-stakeholder interviews, prepare and present study findings in scientific reports, publications, and presentations.

Australian Temporary Residents currently employed at the University of Sydney may be considered for a fixed term contract for the length of their visa, depending on the requirements of the hiring area and the position.
