The Community Engagement Officer plays a key role within the National Centre of Excellence in Intellectual Disability Health (referred to herein as “the Centre”), by providing coordination and support on a range of events, processes and initiatives to enhance stakeholder involvement in the work of the Centre.
The role will work closely with key stakeholder groups including people with intellectual disability, families, carers and supporters and the Centre’s fifty-six Partner and Collaborator organisations. Working as part of the Engagement Team, and in close collaboration with the Inclusion Team, the Community Engagement Officer supports the implementation of the Centre’s Stakeholder Engagement Strategy.
The role will report to Manager Sector Engagement and Strategy.
