This is an exciting opportunity for an interdisciplinary Lecturer/Senior Lecturer to focus their efforts on growing their profile in teaching, research, researcher supervision and development, and citizenship and service, both internal and external. The successful applicant will work across both the School of Medicine and the School of Law, focusing on teaching and scholarship at the intersection of ethics, law and professionalism. You may be required to teach into the compulsory raft of subjects of the LLB(Hons) program in the Law School and as a member of the Academy for Medical Education, will be involved in the design and conduct of the integrated MD program. You will also play a role in the development of interdisciplinary courses and enhance the collaboration between the School of Law and the School of Medicine.
At this level you may coordinate or lead the activities of other staff and contribute to the effective supervision of Honours and Higher Degree by Research students. As a teaching and research academic at Level B, the successful applicant will aspire to achieve national recognition in their field of research, and as a Senior Lecturer at Level C the successful applicant will be expected to have achieved national recognition and have a developing international profile in their field of research.
This position will be based predominately at our Herston Campus however the successful candidate will be expected to engage in teaching and other activities at the St Lucia Campus.

The full-time equivalent base salary at Academic Level B will be in the range $106,079 - $125,687 plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $124,113 - $147,054 annually.
The full-time equivalent base salary at Academic Level C will be in the range $129,609 - $149,217, plus a generous super allowance of up to 17%. The total FTE package will be up to $151,643 - $174,585 annually.
As this role is covered by an Enterprise Agreement, you will also receive regular remuneration increases – at least once a year.
