We are expanding our team of young volunteers and are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in our vision for every student to feel safe and supported in raising mental health and wellbeing concerns in schools. 

About the role

  • Volunteer, fully remote role.
  • Flexible hours, minimum of 2 hours per week.
  • Be part of a collaborative youth-led team of people passionate about youth mental health.

About UrVoice Australia

UrVoice Australia is a youth-led non-for-profit that works with students, parents and the education sector to build an education system that ensures young people feel safe and supported to not only identify concerns, but address them. Our mission is to equip schools and educators with the capacity to effectively identify and address mental health and wellbeing concerns.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic youth-led team.
  • Assist in the planning and execution of team-specific activities.
  • Promote UrVoice Australia’s mission and values.
  • Provide support to team members and contribute to a positive team environment.
  • Stay updated on current events and policy changes relevant to UrVoice Australia’s mission.

Skills and Qualifications

  • Passion for mental health advocacy and social justice.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Reliability and commitment to the role
  • Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., Microsoft Office, social media platforms, graphic design software) is a plus.
