Do you thrive by connecting philanthropists with change-makers? Are you passionate about working with a diverse portfolio of critical fundraising projects including indigenous initiatives? Be a key leader within a ground-breaking university fundraising campaign.

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply!

UTS Advancement has an exciting opportunity for a Campaign Manager to be at the forefront an innovative philanthropic campaign.

About the Team

The role of Advancement is to build philanthropic support for the university’s strategic priorities through sustained and mutually beneficial relationships with individuals, the community, corporates, trusts and foundations. Additionally, Advancement is responsible for building and maintaining relationships with over 260,000 alumni of UTS through a program of publications, communications, events and services.

The focus for this role is on Indigenous fundraising projects and initiatives to increase access and inclusion. For example, the Indigenous Residential College. The college aims to remove the barriers that prevent Indigenous participation in higher education and the broader economy. The college will aim to do this by raising aspiration, maximising opportunities for entry to higher education and supporting the pursuit of quality employment, careers and contribution to society.

About the Role

In this newly created role, you will work with the Campaign Director to deliver a successful, sustainable pan-university fundraising campaign. As the Campaign Manager, you will be responsible for securing, growing and retaining major and principal gift philanthropic funding in support of the Campaign. We are looking for warm, passionate, ambitious fundraisers, engagement or development professionals to join us to raise significant funds that will change the nation.

Through creative and visionary storytelling, the campaign will bring to life ground-breaking programs to inspire the nation. We are already making progress towards this, through initiatives such as the Indigenous Residential College, which once completed, is set to be one of the largest of its kind globally.

This will be the largest ever university fundraising campaign for UTS, and we’d love for you to be a part of it.
