  • Salary: $97,377.80 - $101,787.92, plus super and salary packaging is available

About the role

VACCA is committed to providing tailored, culturally appropriate support to Koorie young people, including those with disabilities, to facilitate successful transitions into further education, training, or employment.

As a Case Manager - Early School Leavers, you will play a pivotal role in supporting Aboriginal students who have disengaged from mainstream education. Your primary responsibilities will involve developing and implementing culturally appropriate case management plans, advocating for their educational and personal needs, and fostering strong partnerships with schools, families, and community organisations.

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in working and engaging with Aboriginal families and children.
  • Experience advocating for clients through engaging with education stakeholders and school supports, collaborating to achieve individual student goals
  • Extensive experience in all functions of Case Management.
  • Ability to work within a team to successfully attain projects and meet organisation objectives.
  • Hold a tertiary qualification in Community Services, Education, Social Work or similar.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Case Management.
  • Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
