The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. The Cultural Mentoring program strengthens our children and young people's connection to culture. We know that the key for a strong future for young Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander people is to know where they come from, who they are and to be proud to say they are Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander. The program prioritises working with young people who are involved with Child Protection.
Reporting to the Senior Program Manager you will provide culturally respectful support to clients to provide them with the opportunity to connect with their culture and community.
