  • Position: Fixed Term, part time (30.4hrs) until 30 June 2025
  • Location: Melton/ Werribee, with travel as required
  • Salary: $73,795.28 - $79,135.16(pro-rata), plus super and salary packaging available

About the role

The Family Violence Support Worker provides transport support to young people ages 5 to 17 years and women’s who attend the group sessions within the Family Violence programs both in Melton and Werribee offices. The position will also support Family violence staff to undertake case related and administrative tasks in addition to providing transport support children to and from the groups for Melton and Werribee sites. The transport will be provided to and from school or home as per family’s need

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in working and engaging with Aboriginal families and children.
  • Sound administration skills – including ability to record case notes, maintain files, use of computer databases.
  • Proven and sound time management skills, communication skills, reliability, accountability, and commitment to high quality client service.
  • Proven ability to work in a team and independently
  • Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
