This role is responsible for managing referral intake, conducting assessments, and responding to the immediate needs of Aboriginal clients accessing support through the Orange Door Hub. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the role contributes to the delivery of high-quality, safe, and culturally appropriate responses for Aboriginal women, children, men, and families. It also provides short-term support and facilitates referrals to appropriate services where further assistance is required.
This role provides short-term case management and crisis support to Aboriginal clients at the NEMA Orange Door Hub. Responsibilities include intake, MARAM assessments, care planning, and outreach as needed. The position ensures accurate and timely documentation, supports cultural safety within the Hub, and promotes self-determination for Aboriginal clients. It also involves participation in triage, collaborative work within a multidisciplinary team, and active engagement in supervision and continuous practice improvement
