  • Salary: $124,840 - $129,756 plus superannuation and salary package

About the role

The Program Manager’s role is part of the East VACCA area leadership group responsible for leadership oversight across the two TOD hubs based in Box Hill and Croydon.

This position plays a critical leadership role in providing support to all VACCA staff employed in TOD, strengthening relationships with partner agencies represented in TOD, strengthen cultural safety for staff and Aboriginal community members presenting at TOD as well as strengthening the Aboriginal voice across FV leadership forums.

About You

  • Commitment and understanding of the values that underpin VACCA’ vision and purpose 
  • Minimum degree qualified in Social Work (or equivalent)
  • Qualifications in Family Violence and MARAM training
  • Minimum  five years’ experience in Family Violence and Child Protection
  • Leadership capabilities including experience in successfully developing, managing, and motivating large teams.
  • Experience in program implementation, service planning and delivery, including monitoring, evaluation and maintenance of applicable standards and statutory compliance requirements.
  • Ability to supervise, manage and support staff to build a competent team of professionals to work with and address the individual and specific needs of Aboriginal families.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the legislation, policies, practice frameworks and program manuals relevant to the effective operation of the programs and services.
  • Requirements: Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver Licence.
