This role is part of the Research and Evidence Development Team and contributes to a new project focused on developing the Sector Strengthening Blueprint strategy. This initiative aims to enhance support for Aboriginal children and families across Melbourne and Victoria, aligning with the national Closing the Gap framework.
The Senior Project Officer will work under the direction of the Project Manager, leading the external components of the Sector Strengthening Blueprint project. This includes planning and implementing project activities, mapping ACCO services, conducting needs assessments, and analyzing results. The role involves engaging with ACCOs and key stakeholders, facilitating culturally safe consultations, and gathering insights to inform the strategy. Additionally, the officer will research service models, identify gaps, draft reports, and contribute to workforce development planning. They will ensure project alignment, provide progress updates, and support evaluation, risk management, and continuous improvement efforts.
