About the role

This role within the Quality Team focuses on enhancing organisational systems and processes to promote continuous quality improvement, best practices, and LGBTIQA+ inclusivity at VACCA. Responsibilities include providing resources, advice, and training to support LGBTIQA+ inclusive practices, maintaining Rainbow Tick accreditation, and driving organisation-wide inclusivity initiatives. The position offers central support to staff across all sites and regions but does not involve client consultations or case management duties.

About You

This role collaborates with leadership to design and implement LGBTIQA+ and inclusivity projects aligned with VACCA’s frameworks. Responsibilities include maintaining Rainbow Tick accreditation, leading cultural change initiatives, and overseeing LGBTIQA+ training for staff. The role involves analysing data to develop quality improvement plans, convening working groups, and enhancing LGBTIQA+ inclusivity across policies, resources, and communications. It also includes creating materials, managing intranet resources, and developing content for VACCA’s platforms to foster a welcoming environment for staff and clients.

Requirements: 

  • Tertiary qualification in relevant field
  • Lived experience as a member of the LGBTIQA+ community
  • Current COVID-19 vaccination (including booster dose, as applicable), a Working with Children’s Check for a paid employee (or willingness to obtain) and a Victorian Driver's Licence.
