The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency (VACCA) is an Aboriginal Community-Controlled organisation that supports and advocates for the Aboriginal Community and is the largest organisation of its kind in Australia. As a Team Leader you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising program activities, ensuring they align with the core values of the community and VACCA's mission, while fostering an inclusive and culturally safe environment. The Team Leader will also work with community leaders, Elders, and key stakeholders to ensure that all aspects of the programs are culturally relevant and responsive to the evolving needs of the community.
By monitoring program performance, identifying areas for improvement, and adjusting strategies as necessary, the Team Leader will ensure that these programs continue to provide meaningful and impactful support to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families. Additionally, the Team Leader will be instrumental in guiding staff, providing mentorship and professional development to ensure high standards of service delivery, and creating a collaborative and respectful team culture.
