<p>The role of the Quality and Governance Officer is to provide support to the Quality, Risk, Compliance and Clinical Governance Team. This includes ensuring all records and systems are maintained in accordance with VACCHOs policies, providing support to staff to use the quality management system, and supporting VACCHO to implement processes that demonstrate compliance with accreditation standards. The role will also be an integral part of supporting VACCHO&rsquo;s organisational culture of continual improvement by improving processes and systems.</p>
<p>This position will report directly to the Executive Manager, Quality, Risk, Compliance and Clinical Governance. This team sits within the Foundations and Innovations Unit, which provides organisation-wide business support services based on specialists&rsquo; knowledge and technology to serve internal and external customers and business partners. The Unit comprises staff focused on covering Finance, Operations / Administration, Quality, Risk &amp; Compliance, Human Resources, Communications, ICT, Shared Business Services and Executive Support.</p>

<h3>Key responsibilities include:</h3>
<ul>
<li><strong>Team Coordination &ndash;</strong> undertake various team support tasks including, managing invoicing processes, overseeing the Quality team inbox and calendar and supporting the Quality team to resolve queries and provide advice as needed.</li>
<li><strong>Audit Support</strong> &ndash; Coordinate and support audit process across VACCHO, including maintaining a schedule of audits and ensuring all required deadlines are met.</li>
<li><strong>Quality Management and administration of LOGIQC system</strong> - Undertake administration functions within the LOGIQC system to ensure proper quality management and processes in place and implemented across the organisation.</li>
<li><strong>Reporting</strong> - Assist with the management of incident reporting and complaints handling, including OH&amp;S incidents, risks and hazards.</li>
<li><strong>Document Control</strong> - Support the coordination of document control process through document auditing processes and helping to maintain correct documentation with the QMS registers by ensuring documents are tracked, and files with the correct delegation document manager and owner.</li>

<h3>Knowledge and Experience</h3>

<li>An interest in creating and following processes and/or finding and solving problems.</li>
<li>Experience in administration and/or supporting organisational quality, governance, or operations processes.</li>
<li>Enthusiasm and willingness to learn.</li>
<li>Self-motivated and demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as an effective team member, promoting cooperation and commitment to achieve goals.</li>
<li>A flexible approach, with strong organisational and planning skills, including the ability to effectively manage time and workload, prioritise tasks, and meet changing circumstances.</li>
<li>Demonstrated proficiency and experience using Microsoft Office 365 applications (e.g., Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Project Management) combined with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work with a wide range of people to develop and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.</li>
</ul>

<li>Aboriginal and/ Torres Strait Islander people are strongly encouraged to apply.</li>
<li>Knowledge of quality management</li>
<li>Strong Aboriginal Community engagement and facilitation experience working within the Aboriginal Health and Wellbeing Sector in Victoria</li>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge, understanding, and commitment to Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander peoples, cultures, and health.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of the philosophy and practice of Aboriginal Community Control.</li>
<li>Demonstrated ability to work with Aboriginal peoples, Communities, and organisations, in a culturally safe, and appropriate, manner.</li>
<li>Demonstrated understanding of LGBTQIASB+ issues and experience with LGBTQIASB+ people via professional engagement, employment or lived experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience in assisting in the facilitation of workshops and forums.</li>
</ul>
<h3>Key selection criteria specific to the role</h3>
<ul>
<li>Demonstrated knowledge and experience relevant to this role or a willingness to learn.</li>
<li>Experience working with and for Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations or Aboriginal-Led businesses in Victoria, or an ability to understand this sector.</li>
