VACCHO is the peak representative for the health and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people in Victoria.

We have 33 member Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations providing support to over 78,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the state. We lead and support Aboriginal Community Control and the broader health and social services sector to deliver transformative health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal communities in Victoria. About the role

The Quality Officer provides support (including administrative support) to the Quality, Risk, Compliance and Clinical Governance Team. They work closely with other team members to provide a range of supports, including drafting communications, process mapping and system administration.

This position reports to the Executive Manager, Quality, Risk, Compliance and Clinical Governance and will at times involve travel within Victoria.

Essential skills/experiences

To be successful in this role, you will love administrative tasks, thrive on improving systems, have pride in your work (attention to detail) and be ready to use your natural interpersonal skills to work with a wide range of people across the organisation. AND be eager to work for an Aboriginal organisation making an impact!

Desirable

  • Previous experience in an operational, administrative or other corporate services type role.
