We have 33 member Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations providing support to over 78,000 Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people across the state. We lead and support Aboriginal Community Control and the broader health and social services sector to deliver transformative health and wellbeing outcomes for Aboriginal communities in Victoria. About the role

The Senior Advisor Human Resources, working within a small HR team, will provide generalist advice and support to employees. This role makes a valuable contribution to the VACCHO employee journey, by contributing to continuous improvement across performance, learning, and health and wellbeing initiatives. The Senior Advisor Human Resources role is instrumental in driving and supporting various HR projects and strategies, helping to shape the future of our workforce, and ensuring we attract, develop and retain top talent.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will most likely have worked in a not for profit / for purpose role previously and value camaraderie and a shared vision that enables us to deliver on key internal projects and our Strategic Plan. You will have at least 5 years’ experience as a HR professional, including providing advice, recruitment, management of the employee lifecycle and managing internal projects. Your sound judgement and empathy will be valued and excellent inter-personal and relationship management skills are essential.
