About the Opportunity

Reporting to the COO, the Practice Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the effective and efficient systems and operations of VAHS Fitzroy medical clinic.

Key responsibilities

• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the clinic.
• Staff Leadership & Management (including staff engagement, induction, performance, development, rostering and leave management)
• Implement and oversee the systems and ensuring staff are utilising them efficiently
• Maintain National Standards for Accreditation.
• Optimise Medicare opportunities
• Oversee and complete reporting
• Participate in relevant VAHS meetings and workshops/forums

Prerequisites

Essential:

• Previous practice management experience
• Previous employment in community-controlled organisation

Desirable:

• Qualifications in Practice Management, Healthcare Administration, Management, or related field.
