Variety – the Children’s Charity Victoria is looking for an experienced Events Coordinator to join their motoring team. The event coordinator plays a vital role in supporting our renowned fundraising events, including the Bash, Rally Around Victoria, 4WD Adventure, and Brats Bash.

Key Responsibilities
Event Planning & Coordination
- Assist in the end-to-end planning, coordination, and production of Variety’s motoring events.
- Maintain participant records and manage event ticketing in Salesforce (CRM).
- Oversee entrant onboarding, compliance, and merchandise orders.
- Support volunteer, casual staff, and contractor coordination.
- Assist in general administration and logistics for all Variety events.
Event Communications
- Assist in producing monthly newsletters, event collateral, and information packs.
- Ensure personal thank-you letters are sent to participant’s post-event.
- Fundraising Support
- Help implement creative and effective fundraising strategies.
- Assist in procuring donated goods and services for fundraising initiatives.
Team Collaboration & Culture
- Contribute to a positive, collaborative, and supportive work environment.

Qualifications & Experience
- A tertiary degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
- 2-3 years’ experience in event coordination, fundraising, or project management.
- Proficiency in Salesforce, Funraisin, Microsoft Suite (including SharePoint and Teams).
- A Victorian Driver’s Licence, Working with Children’s Check, and Federal Criminal History Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Location: Victoria, Australia
- Work Type: Full-Time (occasional after-hours and interstate travel required)
