Do you want to contribute to supporting earlier detection and diagnosis of bowel cancer for the Victorian population?

ACPCC is seeking an excellent communicator who is highly organised, has good attention to detail, and has an interest in public health to join our Population Health team as a Participant Follow-up Officer. • Completing accurate, timely and confidential processing of all relevant information on the PFUF (Participant Follow-up Function) Portal as part of the National Cancer Screening Register (NCSR), and on the internal PFUF Follow-up system.
  • Contacting medical professionals to obtain and/or verify participant follow-up information for entry into the PFUF Portal (as part of the NCSR) and the internal PFUF Follow-up system.

We are seeking a highly motivated and empathetic individual with the following:

  • Excellent communications skills with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Data entry experience with a high level of accuracy and proficiency with computer systems and technology.
  • Ability to plan, organise, and prioritise your own work schedule.
  • Experience in a medical or allied health field and knowledge of medical terminology would be an advantage.
  • Commitment to helping people improve their health and wellbeing.

This role would be ideal for someone who is looking to start a career in public health.
