WHO WE ARE

The Australian Centre for the Prevention of Cervical Cancer (ACPCC) is a not-for-profit (NFP) organisation with 60 years of expertise in prevention of cancer and infectious disease through provision of pathology services, cancer screening and vaccination registries. Our primary purpose is to prevent cancer and infectious diseases through excellence in the provision of population health services supporting screening and vaccination.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Are you passionate about public health and looking to lead a committed group of professionals? ACPCC is seeking a dynamic Team Leader for our Bowel Cancer Screening Participant Follow-Up Function (PFUF).

This critical role supports the National Bowel Cancer Screening Program (NBCSP) by ensuring participants with positive screening tests receive the follow-up care they need.

As the Team Leader for the Bowel Cancer Screening Participant Follow-Up Function (PFUF), you will provide leadership and supervision to ensure adherence to NBCSP and ACPCC protocols.

You will manage a team to ensure appropriate participant follow-up, along with accurate, timely, and confidential processing of information on the PFUF Portal and internal systems. Additionally, you will serve as a key member of the Population Health leadership team, contributing strategic insights to divisional operations and service improvement.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a highly motivated and passionate individual with the following:

  • Experience in team management and leadership.
  • Relevant qualification or experience, such as in Public Health, Health Sciences, Nursing, Health Information Management or Healthcare Administration.
  • Strong stakeholder communication and management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment with a range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong digital skills with experience and understanding of data entry systems and working with a large, computerised database.
