The Senior VTIF Regional Engagement Officer is responsible for leading community and stakeholder engagement in transmission infrastructure and Renewable Energy Zones (REZ) projects in Victoria. This role involves creating and executing tailored engagement strategies, building social licence, and working with various stakeholders, including local communities and landholders, throughout the Victorian Transmission Investment planning cycle.
If you are current Victorian Public Service (VPS) employee, employed on an ongoing, fixed term or casual basis you are eligible to apply for this role.
Preferred candidates will be required to undertake pre-employment screening, including a Declaration and Consent form and a National Police Check.
Should there be an opportunity for an ongoing appointment, these will only be available to an Australian/New Zealand citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.

This is a fixed term position available on a two year fixed term contract. The work location for this position is 402 Mair St, Ballarat 3350, with some overnight travel. Hybrid work arrangements available.
