VicHealth is the world’s first health promotion foundation. Established by the Victorian Parliament in 1987, we were the first agency of our kind worldwide to utilise a hypothecated tax on tobacco to support independent, long-term, evidence-based health promotion practice, partnerships and leadership. We continue to be a global leader in health promotion, as a Collaborating Centre with the World Health Organization and technical partner to UNICEF.
We currently have an exciting new Partnerships Lead position within our Grants and Partnerships Delivery team.
You will report to the Manager, Grants and Partnerships and work with internal teams across the organisation (including in the CEO’s Office) whilst also having a strong external presence with VicHealth’s diverse network of stakeholders and partners.
This is a critical role to ensure our focus on young people and those facing barriers to better health and wellbeing creates successful outcomes for Victorians.
You will be responsible for developing an organisation-wide stakeholder management plan that ensures a coordinated, strategic and efficient approach for stakeholder partnerships is embedded across VicHealth.
You will also support the Grants and Partnerships Coordinator and Assistants, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure team success and VicHealth’s objectives.
You will be highly driven with a can-do attitude, have a systems-based mindset, and be comfortable building sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced working environment are also key strengths.
As someone with initiative and who is be able to solve real world problems, you should be able to clearly demonstrate how you have worked collaboratively within a strong team environment and contributed, through your leadership, to a constructive and impact-focussed culture.
