We currently have an exciting Partnerships Lead position within our Grants and Partnerships Delivery team.

You will report to the Manager, Partnerships, Delivery & Investments and work with internal teams across the organisation (including in the CEO's Office) whilst also having a strong external presence with VicHealth's diverse network of stakeholders and partners.

This is a critical role to ensure our focus on young people and those facing barriers to better health and wellbeing creates successful outcomes for Victorians.

You will be responsible for the delivery and review of an organisation-wide partnership and stakeholder strategy that ensures a coordinated, strategic and efficient approach for stakeholder partnerships is embedded across VicHealth.

You will also support the Grants and Partnerships Coordinator and Assistants, providing coaching and mentoring to ensure team success and VicHealth's objectives.

You will be highly driven with a can-do attitude, have a systems-based mindset, and be comfortable building sustainable relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Working with ambiguity and in a fast-paced working environment are also key strengths.

As someone with initiative and who is able to solve real world problems, you should be able to clearly demonstrate how you have worked collaboratively within a strong team environment and contributed, through your leadership, to a constructive and impact-focussed culture.

Qualifications and experience required

  • Relevant tertiary qualification in Health Promotion, Project Management, or related field
  • Experience working within the public health, community or government sectors across a range of work areas, health topics, settings, population groups and sectors
  • An industry leader in developing and maintaining integral stakeholder relationships
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Advanced demonstrable experience in project management
  • Ability to work across groups and teams to achieve outcomes
  • Demonstrated ability to learn new approaches and apply them in practice
  • Demonstrated understanding of using systems-thinking or a systems approach to addressing complex issues.
