About the Role:

You will work together with the Student Accessibility Team to ensure students with disability have a welcoming, inclusive and accessible student experience. Providing a proactive and responsive support service, you will meet and partner with students to develop Learning Access Plans. You will help deliver programs and training to uplift accessibility and promote disability pride across campuses and online.

This is a continuing full time position at a HEW 6, $87,381 - $94,582 classification working 36.75 hours per week.

An example of your responsibilities or duties you may perform will include:

  • Work collaboratively with a passionate team
  • Draft and share Learning Access Plans
  • Partner with colleges to uplift accessibility and universal design for learning

About you:

You are an organised, calm and flexible person with a commitment to equity, accessibility and inclusion. You love working collaboratively in a team environment and contributing ideas to programs and projects.

  • You are experienced in best-practice disability inclusion and in providing reasonable accommodations to remove barriers. You operate from a disability-rights framework.
