A rare opportunity at Village Glen Retirement Village, Capel Sound has become available for the right EEN to become part of our dynamic nursing team in a great supportive working environment. We pride ourselves in providing excellent care to independently living residents in a beautiful, vibrant community.

You will enjoy the stability of set days (days are yet to be confirmed) rather than an ever changing roster but still have the ability to swap within our supportive team for those unavoidable occasions that can arise. Ideally, you would also be available to cover extra shifts for personal and annual leave within the dedicated team of nurses when possible.

The EEN and RN work together to provide necessary care and services to the residents of VGRL. The RN will determine what responsibilities each have for the shift, and the EEN will refer and consult with the RN.

The primary objectives of the position are:

• Assist RN in delivering care and services to all residents of VGRL
• Attend the emergency nurse call system as the highest priority
• Assist in providing a clinic to residents daily when required
• Clinical care including high levels of wound care, assessment and monitoring
• Adherence to Workplace safety guidelines
• Provide excellent Customer Service and support

What you will need

We're looking for someone who has at least 2 years post registration experience as an EEN. Ideally you will have worked within an Aged Care facility and will have excellent clinical assessment skills as well as a current drivers licence.
