VolunteeringACT is the peak body for volunteering in the Canberra Region, the provider of Community Information Services as well as being a service provider of programs for people experiencing disadvantage and isolation, people with disability, and people needing support for mental wellness.

Our activities improve inclusivity, enable sustainable volunteering, and create a more resilient Canberra community. The Senior Policy and Advocacy Coordinator will be responsible for supporting those functions across the organisation at a transformative time for volunteering, inclusion, and community information in our region.

You will enjoy working in Civic, flexible working conditions, being part of a fun collaborative team and enjoy meaningful work that really makes a difference in people’s lives.

We welcome applications from people with diverse backgrounds, including people with lived experience of disability, who identify as LGBTIQA+ and people from Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander or culturally and linguistically diverse communities.

The role is paid at the equivalent of SCHADS Level 6 plus superannuation and generous salary sacrifice benefits. The role is being offered 0.8FTE to full time.
