As the Program Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind the operations and delivery of our vital AOD rehabilitation program for Aboriginal women and their children.

You’ll manage a dedicated team, build key relationships with stakeholders, and ensure that every client’s needs are met with compassion, cultural understanding, and clinical excellence.

• Location: Bomaderry, and other Waminda outreach sites as required (across the Illawarra and Shoalhaven)
  
• Type: Full-time, 35 hours per week
  
• Renumeration: Salary is in accordance with the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award 2010, Level 7 - above award conditions

What You’ll Do:

• Lead with vision – Oversee the full operation and delivery of the AOD program, ensuring everything runs smoothly
• Drive innovation – Lead the development of new strategies, ensuring we’re always evolving to meet the needs of our clients
• Champion culturally safe care – Foster a supportive, culturally respectful environment for Aboriginal women and their children.
• Ensure compliance & quality – Ensure the program meets regulatory standards and continues to improve through a focus on harm minimisation and continuous quality improvement
• Support clients every step of the way – Provide strengths-based, trauma-informed care that empowers women and families in their recovery journey.

What We’re Looking For:

• Experienced leader – Proven experience in managing teams, programs, and stakeholders, ideally in an AOD or community service setting
• Clinical expertise – Strong understanding of clinical governance, harm minimisation, and quality improvement processes
• Cultural competency – Deep respect and understanding of Aboriginal culture, values, and practices
• Commitment to making a difference – A passion for supporting women through recovery in a holistic and inclusive way.
