WA Police Legacy is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to caring for the Police Family since 1992 .

Working in a small office, this position assists the Manager in general office administration and event management as well as public relations and internal and external stakeholder management.

WA Police Legacy has elements to its operations:

• Delivery of support services to Police Legatees, Wards and Members;
• Fundraising, to enable delivery of support services;
• Management oversight, governance and administration;
• Oversight of investment properties, and Event management and public relations.

This position assists the Manager in general office administration and event management as well as public relations and internal and external stakeholder management. MYOB is required. Ability to use and input Social Media and website.

WA Police Legacy’s mission statement is to provide financial assistance, support and benefits to police officers and their families in times of illness and death. The Police Family extends far and wide and encompasses not only our serving and retired Police Officers but also their families; wives, husbands, partners, parents and children. Funding is primarily through deductions of serving and retired WA Police officers and its own fundraising initiatives.
