About Warrama Li

Warrama Li Group is a social enterprise in Moree, NSW, dedicated to creating job and training opportunities for young First Nations people interested in a trades-based career. We support personal and professional development through training and employment opportunities in carpentry, plumbing, and cleaning and maintenance services.

Our goal is to empower young people with a sense of purpose, greater confidence, and improved wellbeing, while reducing interactions with the criminal justice system through meaningful employment. We work closely with our parent company, Miyay Birray Youth Service.

  • Support staff to undertake apprenticeships, traineeships, or further education by connecting them with relevant providers.
  • Work with local employers, including social housing providers and community organisations, to create job opportunities.

Wellbeing and Support

  • Identify and implement wraparound support services to address the wellbeing needs of employees, such as health, education, and family support.
  • Act as a key point of contact for staff wellbeing concerns, building trust and providing appropriate referrals where necessary.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture that supports staff in their personal and professional development.

HR Support

  • Support staff in setting and achieving their personal and professional development goals.
  • Develop systems to track and report on training and employment outcomes, such as skills acquired, apprenticeships completed, and job placements.
