This is an exciting opportunity to shape the long-term direction of Home Support and NDIS services across Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN). We are looking for an experienced leader whose innovative thinking can build on our existing programs and take them to new heights.
You will be reporting to and supported by the Executive Director Community and Allied Health (EFNLHN) for the operational management of the Country Health Connect service. As the Operations Manager, you will be responsible for providing leadership in the continued development of the highest quality and contemporary client centred services.
You will have the opportunity to work in a positive and supportive environment with Clinical Operations Managers in the Community and Allied Health Directorate and other senior leaders across the organisation to drive service growth and development through the effective planning of services.
Country Health Connect focuses on the delivery of exceptional care to those living within our communities who require some support to remain living independently.
To be successful in this role, you will have a proven track record in senior management roles with a working knowledge of aged care and disability sector reforms.
You will bring the ability to analyse, plan, organise, manage complex services and work with Executive teams and consumers to create successful outcomes. This will be evident in your ability to develop and maintain strong relationships and partnerships with a range of stakeholders to maximise engagement opportunities specifically within the Home Support, NDIS, Community Health and other new and emerging areas.
You will have previous change management experience, strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
You will have extensive experience with multidisciplinary team functioning and be willing to support staff from a variety of disciplines to reach their potential. An understanding of human resource management, supervision, financial management and risk management processes is also required.
You will require excellent administrative, IT, organisational, communication skills managing remote based staff and the ability to work independently.
To be appointed at RN/RM4 classification you must be registered or eligible for registration as a Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds, or who is eligible to hold, a current practicing certificate.
To be appointed at AHP4 classification must hold a recognised qualification within a relevant Allied Health profession and be eligible for (full) membership of the relevant Professional Association.
