Waverley Community Learning Centre is currently seeking a qualified and experienced English tutor to deliver our Level 1 (Wednesday) and Level 2 (Tuesday) classes 9:30am – 12pm (during school terms).

This position starts ASAP. Please see attached Position Description for more information.

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA

• Cert IV TAE teaching qualification (minimum).
• CELTA or Cert IV TESOL (minimum).
• Significant experience teaching English to adult learners.
• Prior tutoring and experience in a community managed organisation would be advantageous.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Experience in adapting course content to suit a broad range of learners.
