We are seeking a dedicated Senior Occupational Health and Safety, Return to Work Coordinator, and Quality Assurance Officer with Facility Maintenance responsibilities to join our team. Position Overview

This multifaceted role combines the critical functions of Occupational Health and Safety (OHS), Return to Work (RTW) coordination, Quality Assurance (QA), and Facility Maintenance, ensuring our organisation adheres to compliance standards, promotes a safe working environment, and maintains the highest quality of service delivery. Working closely with cross-functional departments to ensure compliance with industry regulations, quality standards, and best practices. This role will be instrumental in developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety policies, coordinating effective return to work programs, overseeing quality assurance processes, and managing facility maintenance tasks.

Key Aspects of the Role:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain a robust OH&S Quality Management System (QMS).
  • Monitor and evaluate OH&S processes to ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Coordinate RTW programs, including liaising with healthcare providers, employees, and management to facilitate effective and timely returns to work.
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
  • Promote a culture of safety throughout the organization.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance OH&S performance and quality, driving change where required in reports during scheduled meetings with Audit and Risk Committee.
  • Ensuring quality and procedures aligned within ISO:9001 certifications.

To be successful in the role we are looking for:

  • Relevant education in OH&S, quality management, or related field.
  • Certified in Return-to-Work Coordination and Quality Assurance Management (desired).
  • Understanding of ISO:9001 and HACCP certification, and obtained relevant professional certifications related to auditing and quality assurance.
  • Orientation towards continual learning to keep up with changing standards, best practice, and regulations.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Strong commitment to safety, attention to detail, and effective leadership and communication skills.
  • Experience working within Not for Profit Sector, Disability Services and Warehousing ( a preference, not essential).
