Wellsprings for Women is a boutique agency that specialises in being a women-only centre offering a range of educational and skill-building programs, plus wrap-around services tailored to meet the needs of women and children from migrant and refugee backgrounds.

This is a part time role for 22.5 hours a week, initially offered for 12 months with potential extension subject to funding.

Salary is in accordance with the NHACC 2016 Agreement Schedule 3B- Level 4.2 ($44.20 per hour) plus 11.5% superannuation and up to $16,000 per year salary packaging

Main tasks

• Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and stakeholders
• Identify and pursue new funding opportunities
• Prepare grant proposals and manage grant applications
• Develop and maintain a funding bodies database and ensure accurate record-keeping
• Monitor and report on funding submissions and results
• Collaborate with other service areas within Wellsprings to ensure alignment of grant applications with the organisation's mission and goals
• Establish a grants database to monitor grants applications, reporting and acquittals
• Prepare annual government budget submissions in consultation with management.

Other Duties:

• Attend Management Team meetings to report on grants and seek feedback on funding needs
