The Greater Geelong and Borough of Queenscliffe (GGQ) Local Mental Health and Wellbeing Service is delivered by a consortium of equal partners: Barwon Health, Wathaurong Aboriginal Cooperative Ltd, Wellways Australia and Erhma365. It is a safe space for all community members and is a service underpinned by positivity, hope and inclusion.
As our new Team Leader - Wellbeing and Peer Support Services, you will lead the provision of high-quality services that enable the people we support to achieve their health, social, emotional and practical needs. This will be done through collaboration with the people we support, their families, and carers. The role will also involve coaching and mentoring the Wellbeing and Peer Support team to foster positive team culture and ensure they have the skills and knowledge required to work positively with the people we support.
The Mental Health and Wellbeing Local is accessible to the community 7 days a week, including public holidays. We are looking for a new team member to join us on a full time basis (38 hours per week), adhering to a rotating roster to oversee and support delivery of a high quality service.
Wellways are a team of approximately 2000 staff and 150 volunteers across 93 sites providing a range of programs, services and supports to people right across Queensland, New South Wales, Australian Capital Territory, Victoria and Tasmania.
