Seeking someone with an eye for detail and exceptional project/contract management skills to join our contracts team.

Your Role

The Contracts Officer will support staff to carry out commissioning and contract management activities in line with the Wentworth Healthcare Commissioning Framework.

As part of this role, the Contracts Officer will support the Contracts Manager to ensure policies, procedures, resources and infrastructure are in place, reviewed and fit for purpose ensuring proficient commissioning, procurement, contracting and reporting activities.

To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate your knowledge and/or experience in a project, commissioning or contract setting including the ability to develop and support contract management in a procurement environment. Key to this role are exceptional planning, organisational and administrative skills with a meticulous eye for detail being a must have attribute.

This position is full time (4 days per week considered) and is funded until June 2024.

Future employment is subject to ongoing funding.

  • Location: Penrith LGA
  • Remuneration: $86,882 (potential maximum grossed up salary equivalent $96,653*).

*Based on NFP salary packaging tax benefits (which may be subject to criteria)

Selection Criteria:

Essential

  • Demonstrated experience in commissioning and/or project and/or contract management.
  • Demonstrated highly developed verbal and written communication skills.
  • Meticulous attention to detail especially in the development and review of commissioning documentation and contract schedules.
  • Proven ability to utilise information technology tools and platforms including the Microsoft Office suite to an intermediate level.

Desirable

  • Tertiary level learning in the areas of health, business and/or law.
  • Previous experience in a health, business operations or legal environment.
