About the Role

Are you a marketing professional with a passion for creating meaningful impact in the disability space? We are seeking an innovative and results-driven Marketing Business Partner to lead end-to-end campaign management within the NDIS framework.

WMQ are looking for a Marketing Business Partner who has a strong background in marketing, specifically within the disability sector, and a comprehensive understanding of the NDIS landscape. Successfully managing and executing campaigns that resonate with diverse audiences, elevating brand awareness and driving engagement.

The Marketing Business Partner will support the marketing and communications activities of Wesley Mission Queensland Limited (WMQL) by developing and implementing a range of strategies that support service area requirements and ensure maximum engagement with new and existing customers.

The purpose of the role is to work closely with leaders to understand local and industry trends to provide strategic and tactical advice to the relevant Executive and General/Service Managers that aligns to the wider WMQL marketing strategy and how the advice may best be delivered by the Sales and Marketing function.

The Marketing Business Partner will also have responsibility for understanding business drivers, challenges and needs to build campaigns to deliver leads; develop the customer experience; and deliver strategic objectives within the service areas.

Key Role Accountabilities:

  • Align one’s workplace behaviour in accordance with the WMQL Model of Care, the Wesley Charter and Wesley Mission Queensland Limited Vision, Mission and Values. Work with the relevant service areas to define the marketing strategy for the division and align these with the WMQL group strategy.
  • In conjunction with the service areas, develop and define local plans to drive sales qualified leads and brand awareness across key stakeholder groups.
  • Execute marketing campaigns and activities by creating clear briefs to help achieve market share and revenue objectives.
  • Provide high quality copywriting for a range of marketing activities whilst being mindful of any relevant legislative or compliance issues.
  • Produce and update content for all communication platforms including publications, websites, email campaigns and social media.
  • Manage the production and creation of marketing promotional materials to a high standard including advertisements, brochures and publications.
  • Manage all aspects of production and development of creative multi-media including videos and photography.
  • Develop and contribute to content planning to ensure the integration of content across all communications platforms for maximum effectiveness and consistency.
  • Manage events as directed including planning and production.
  • Provide regular reporting on marketing activities and make recommendations and changes to improve outcomes.
  • In conjunction with the Sales and Digital teams, prepare a monthly summary report with ROI.
  • Manage to budget as outlined by the relevant leader.
  • Other activities as defined by the Manager - Marketing.

About You

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Marketing or related field and at least five years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Knowledge and application of marketing principles.
  • Demonstrated creativity in marketing and communications.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and delivering marketing campaigns that have delivered sales.
  • Demonstrated experience analysing market trends and consumer insights with a successful track record launching projects to market.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to confidently support the business in marketing and communications.
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and an understanding of different markets and how to interact with these audiences.
  • Demonstrated experience successfully managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.
  • Significant experience in data and reporting.
  • Strong project management, presentation and communication skills with proven experience developing and nurturing stakeholder relationships.
  • Commitment to process improvement and application of innovation.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to adapt, share knowledge and work collaboratively with team members and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and work pro-actively for qualitative outcomes.
