About the Role

School of Social Sciences is seeking an experienced Community Clinics Coordinator to join their team part-time for 21 hours per week.

The Clinic Coordinator, WSU Community Clinics is a critical position that provides exceptional administrative and operational support for the management of the WSU Community Clinics. The Clinic Coordinator reports to the School Manager and takes guidance from the Clinic Lead.

This Coordinator will play a key role in maintaining good clinical governance of the Community Clinics as well as supporting and enhancing student training and client services provided at the WSU Community Clinics. The role primarily entails provision of site-specific clinical supervision to counselling trainees, ensuring good-practice guidelines for client care are followed by trainees, and assisting in implementing clinical services coordination across the WSU Community Clinics.

This position will work as part of a wider team including the WSU Community Clinics Clinic Lead supporting, developing and guiding initiatives within the WSU Community Clinics while acting as a conduit between trainees, University supervisors and assisting the Clinic

Lead with more complex issues that relate to the overall administration of the WSU Community Clinics.

This is a part-time (21 hours per week), ongoing position primarily based at Parramatta South Campus, although travel to other campuses of the University may be required.

About You

The successful candidate will have a postgraduate qualification at Masters level in counselling, psychotherapy or counselling psychology with eligibility for full professional membership of PACFA or ACA. Applicants must be either PACFA, ACA or AHPRA approved with five years clinical experience and registered as a supervisor. Extensive clinical experience in a wide range of presenting psychological and social issues for diverse client groups is essential. A Current NSW Driver’s License, valid NSW Working with Children and Police checks are required.

Remuneration Package: HEW Level 8 $78,444 to $87,081 p.a. (comprising Salary of $66,286 to $73,585 p.a., plus Superannuation and Leave Loading)
