WOMEN FOR ELECTION (WFE) is a non-partisan, for purpose organisation that is committed to helping inspire and equip women and non-binary folk, from all backgrounds and lived experience, to run for public office in Australia at the local, state and federal level.
WFE strives to achieve gender parity in Australia’s legislative chambers so that governments are representative of the communities they govern. WFE’s programs help women see how they can get involved in the political process, be it to run or to help another woman’s campaign whilst also increasing active citizenry.
WFE’s vision is to achieve a balanced and fair society achieved through gender parity in Australian politics across all tiers of government.
The mission of WFE is to inspire, equip and sustain women to successfully stand for, and thrive in, public office in Australia.
WFE upholds these values:

Supported by a consortium of 4 other organisations and a Design Council, the “Women in Public Office” grant will expand WFE’s current reach by leveraging in-place training programs, an online virtual program and an innovative digital technology resource.
We’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to work with the CEO and General Manager and be an integral part of the executive team to deliver a range of operational, strategic and reporting projects to enable WFE to deliver the Program of Work associated with the Grant.

This wonderful opportunity will suit an exceptionally organised professional, with highly developed interpersonal skills, who thrives working in a collaborative and fast-paced environment. We'd love to know how you can amplify our team with your unique experience!
