A bit about us

Whipped Up is a registered NDIS service provider, focusing on customised cooking classes and food-related experiences, primarily for children and adults with disabilities. About 90% of our work is within the disability space with some clients in aged care.We were founded in July 2018 and are a completely mobile business. We are a warm, friendly & inclusive company with a focus on creating fantastic experiences for clients, whilst also taking great care of anyone who is employed by us. The role

A casual cooking instructor, teaching one-on-one cooking classes mostly within people's homes. This usually involves shopping for ingredients with or without the client, cooking with them in their home to either help improve their cooking skills and build their independence or create more ease in their lives. Our goal is to support their goals. We are dedicated to helping our clients build a healthy and passionate relationship and experience with food. This can also involve taking our clients out of their homes and on “foodie” excursions to create fun experiences around food.

• Able to adapt recipes on a whim and cope well with changes in plansHappy to use their own car for work and transporting their clients at times (travel allowance provided)
• Fully vaccinated

Hours of work

The position is casual for the first three to six months, with the option to go part time or full time after. However, as a casual, we offer stability with shifts and you will still be paid for last minute cancellations. You will eventually be required to see a minimum of 7 clients a week over approximately 4 days a week. Each client is usually a 3 hour shift. It may be a slow lead up to this capacity, the hours will increase over time. Clients are visited mostly on weekdays.

Location

Northern & Eastern suburbs - based in or willing to travel to Doncaster/Ringwood/Box Hill/Heidelberg/Wantirna/Dandenong Ranges/Rowville areas. Must be willing to travel up to 30mins to each client.

Remuneration

Casual hourly rate of $32.20, plus super and travel/car allowance.
