The Whitehorse Manningham Regional Library Corporation is seeking applications from suitably qualified people interested in becoming an Independent Member of the Audit and Risk Committee. The Audit and Risk Committee Charter outlines the terms of appointment and responsibilities of committee members.

The Audit Committee is an independent advisory committee to the Library Board. The Audit Committee assists the Library Corporation through independent reviews of systems including internal controls, compliance with legislation and the Corporation’s risk control. The Committee usually meets twice a year in April and August. Meetings are held in-person at Box Hill Library.

The successful applicant will have a professional financial, risk management, audit or local government management background.
