The Unit Manager Youth Development will provide management, leadership and strategic direction to the Youth Development Team in the delivery of all aspects of Council’s commitment to young people. The City of Whittlesea is currently experiencing significant and rapid growth, this role will contribute to the development of the place based social and physical infrastructure of the municipality to achieve the vision, goals and actions articulated in YouthPlan 2030+, Whittlesea: 2040 and the Community Plan.
You will be a passionate and constructive leader with excellent communication, influencing and problem-solving skills and someone who exemplifies Council’s values and behaviours, particularly in regards to supporting and bettering the local Youth community.
