Wild Women On Top create community hiking adventures that help women fall in love with fitness. We create Coastrek, Australia’s most iconic hiking challenge for women, which journeys along some of the most spectacular coastlines in the world. We also prepare women for life changing adventures and partner with like-minded brands to reach out boldly and cultivate magic moments that inspire. Adventure, women’s empowerment, community, health, and love of nature are at the heart of everything we do. 

Through Coastrek we’ve inspired and empowered over 70,000 women to walk the stunning coastal trails and beaches of Sydney, the Mornington Peninsula, the Sunshine Coast, the Fleurieu Peninsula and Margaret River, and our community has raised more than $48 million dollars for charity.

The Role

You will have fun striving for excellence while managing the finance functions of a fast-paced national charity hiking events business with international aspirations.

This position may involve out-of-hours events and activities. You will be notified of this beforehand where possible.

Reporting Lines

You will report directly to the General Manager, with 1 direct report

Key Responsibilities:

  • Day to day management of the finance operations of the business
  • Monthly reporting P&L, Balance Sheet, Rolling Forecast & Cashflow
  • Accounts Receivable/Payable, Payroll, Banking
  • Statutory/legislative compliance/external reporting
  • Supporting Executive and senior management by providing financial modelling including project costing and strategic initiative profit projections
  • Management of a property trust entity, including financials, cashflow, year-end profit projections and statutory requirements
  • Manage the financial set up of the UK Wild Women On Top Business, including Payroll, Statutory reporting, Banking
  • Process and policy implementation with emphasis on continuous improvement
  • Management of a direct report
  • Business Partnering budget holders and support to non-finance staff
  • Fostering a positive team culture, emphasising Learning and Development and continuous improvement

You will have:

  • Accounting qualification equivalent to CPA/CA
  • 5-10 years small business accounting experience preferably in social purpose business, charity, events or sports marketing
  • Highly competent with applications such as Xero, MS Office Suite. Experience in working with Dext and Spotlight s highly desirable.
  • UK experience is an added bonus
