We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Research Assistant to join our small and dynamic philanthropic foundation team. As a Research Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting evidence-base decision-making and strategic planning for our foundation’s philanthropic initiatives. Your work will contribute directly to our mission to invest in innovative research and progressive initiatives to drive change in both mental and physical health.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough literature reviews to identify relevant research studies, theories, methodologies and thought leaders related to our philanthropic initiatives.
  • Conduct thorough data reviews and undertake analysis to help interpret and identify trends, patterns and insights related to our philanthropic initiatives.
  • Summarise and synthesise findings from literature and data reviews to provide an overview of the research, data and thought leadership landscape to inform decision-making.
  • Maintain organised and well-documented records of literature and data reviews and prepare reports for the team.

Selection Criteria

  • Master’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Strong interest in lifestyle-based approaches to mental and physical health including endometriosis.
  • Proficiency in research and data analysis and synthesis.
  • Familiarity with relevant research publications.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to maintain accurate records.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work well within a team.
