Started by a group of parents over 70 years ago, Windgap is a not-for-profit organisation based in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs, providing a range of programs and services for over 250 adults with disabilities. We foster independence, empowerment and continued learning, to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be included in the community and workplace. Our team centres on social justice and is passionate about ensuring that everyone with a disability is able to gain access to the appropriate resources to achieve their goals as our Support Coordination Manager you will plays a crucial role in achieving this.
Windgap currently has a Permanent Full Time (38 hours per week) position available for a qualified Social Worker, Located in Banksmeadow. This is a SCHADS level 6 ($51.90) position. As the Support Coordination Manager, you will lead and oversee a team of Support Coordinators, who are responsible for assisting participants with Support Coordination in the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) plan to connect to and coordinate with a range of informal and mainstream supports that align with their funding and goals.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring efficient and effective support coordination services are delivered by the team to meet the needs and expectations of our participants. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing team performance and driving continuous improvement across Support Coordination operations.
