ABOUT WIRES

Since 1985, WIRES has been actively rehabilitating and preserving Australian wildlife and inspiring others to do the same.

After the devastating bushfires of 2020 and facing an extinction crisis, our mission to protect Australian wildlife has become even more critical. We are looking for someone ready to make a real difference.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This key role will provide exceptional service to WIRES corporate partners and corporate donors, nurturing positive long-term relationships that increase corporate engagement with WIRES and grow fundraising income to expand our rescue, care and education services. It will include working closely with the team on developing and growing workplace giving, corporate volunteering, corporate partnerships, and corporate fundraising programs.

This is a great role for those who are keen to grow their career within fundraising and to develop skills in corporate partnerships.

The successful candidate will have the ability to build and maintain positive relationships, a demonstrated ability to work on multiple projects, the ambition to be successful, a focus on attention to detail and willingness to learn and grow.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships
  • Demonstrated excellent written & verbal communication skills
  • Commitment to increase fundraising revenue
  • Demonstrated ability to improve results or outcomes in previous roles
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to multi-task
  • Highly organised, reliable, efficient & detail orientated
  • Committed to prompt, high quality client service
  • Awareness of the importance of data integrity and accuracy & experience working with a range of systems
